Overview

Bubba's Golf Scorecard ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how our app handles your information when you use our golf scoring application.

            TL;DR: We don't collect, store, or share ANY of your personal information. 
            Your golf scores are stored in YOUR private iCloud account, and only you can access them.
        

Information Collection

We do NOT collect any personal information.

No email addresses
No names (beyond what you enter for players)
No phone numbers
No location data
No device identifiers
No analytics or tracking data

Data Storage

All data created in Bubba's Golf Scorecard is stored using Apple's iCloud CloudKit service in YOUR personal iCloud account:

Golf round data (dates, course names, scores)
Player information (names and handicaps you enter)
Score history (hole-by-hole scores)

            Important: This data is stored in YOUR private iCloud container. We cannot access, view, 
            or retrieve your data. Only devices signed in to your Apple ID can sync and view this information.
        

iCloud Sync

Bubba's Golf Scorecard uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your golf scores across your devices:

Data syncs between devices signed into the same Apple ID
All data is encrypted by Apple during transmission and storage
Sync only occurs when you're signed in to iCloud
The app works offline; data syncs when connection is restored
You can disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings → iCloud → Apps

Third-Party Services

Bubba's Golf Scorecard does NOT use any third-party services, including:

No analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
No advertising networks
No crash reporting services (beyond Apple's built-in crash logs)
No social media integrations

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone. Period.

The only data sharing that occurs is between YOUR devices through YOUR iCloud account, managed entirely by Apple's secure infrastructure.

Data Retention

Your golf score data remains in your iCloud account until you delete it:

You can delete individual rounds in the app's History view
You can delete all app data by deleting the app and its iCloud data
Data is not retained on our servers (we don't have servers!)

Children's Privacy

Bubba's Golf Scorecard does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, this app is safe for all ages.

The app is rated 4+ and contains no inappropriate content.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored in your personal iCloud account, you have complete control:

Access: View all your data within the app
Delete: Remove individual rounds or all data
Export: Your data remains in Apple's standard format
Control: Enable/disable iCloud sync at any time

Security

Your data security is handled by Apple's iCloud infrastructure:

End-to-end encryption for data in transit
Encrypted storage in iCloud
Two-factor authentication protection (if enabled on your Apple ID)
No third-party access to your data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

No Advertising

Bubba's Golf Scorecard contains no advertisements and never will. We don't track you for advertising purposes or sell your data to advertisers.
